Ealing Ladies Who Latte

Our first meet up

Picture
I must admit to feeling very relieved at seeing a friendly face coming towards me on the morning of the first Ealing meet up. Networking groups can be funny things. Sometimes you get a great response and people enthusiastically agree to come and then on the day you find yourself sitting alone wondering what happened to everyone and feeling slightly self conscientious wondering how long you should wait before giving up the ghost and going home .
However I need not have worried as no sooner had I ordered my latte when I caught sight of a friendly face approaching my table and then about 10 minutes later two more lovely ladies arrived ,so then we were four !
A small group I grant you but it didn't matter as within minutes we were sharing our plans and ideas for our businesses and laughing about about the stuff that wasn't quite going to plan .  Two and half hours flew by and after the meet up I felt I had really begun some great new friendships as well as met some fab business women who I will definitely be referring any potential clients I meet to.
As a solopreneur myself the value of being able to meet up with a lovely supportive group of like minded women can't be underestimated and provides a really valuable boost for anyone who works on their own, but misses some of the camaraderie that perhaps a past life as an employee of a company provided .

Our second meet up July 27th

Wow I can believe how quickly our second meeting came around and this time we had a couple of new ladies who joined us from the Primrose Hill group . Again we had a great time ,plenty of shared, inspiration, business tips and laughter .Its great watching friendships form and possible business venture ideas begin to take shape. I love the relaxed atmosphere of the group which manages to feel professional informal and great fun all at the same time.

Although a couple of the ladies had to race off a few of us stayed on for a delicious lunch and of course more lattes :) I cant wait for our next meet up on August 31st    so if you think we sound like the networking group for you ,come along . Children are welcome so come on all you fab mumpreneurs !

Our 3rd Meet Up !

Ealing has seen it's share of distressing events in the last few weeks with many small businesses having been  the victims of the unforgivable actions of of a small group of thuggish rioters  .

However the the morning afterward more than 100 people turned up to take part in the clean up operation with brooms at the ready and acted as a timely reminder in the wake of the atrocious behaviour of the few that the majority of the Ealing community is made up of hard working ,honest and caring people who are good neighbours and know right from wrong. I have been very touched by the stories of donations by private individuals to those affected by the riots and the genuine warmth that has been shown by people who had previously been stangers to their neighbours .

I'm really looking forward meeting up with other Ealing business women at our next Ladies Who Latte meeting as its a great way for us female business owners, solopreneurs and mumpreneurs to benefit from a being part of a great and supportive community of our peers where we can benefit from the friendship, wisdom and advice of other fantastic women.
Since our last meeting Ealing Ladies who Latte has been featured in the Ealing Gazette and the article has prompted a flurry of  enquiries from some fab sounding Ladies so I really cant wait for our meeting this Wednesday .

If you are a business women in Ealing and would like to find out more why not pop along this Wednesday 31st August at 10am to Cote Brasserie and join us for a latte.

Wow its October!

Picture
I can't believe its October already and we have had our 4th Ealing meeting . Where does the time go? The weather is so lovely this week it feels like we are in the middle of summer and yet its only a few  short weeks until Christmas as I was reminded when shopping today and saw all the festive cards and gifts filling the shelves in several stores .

It was great to see a mix of familiar faces and a couple of new ones at the recent meetup and I was thinking that it would be fun to have  Christmas get together .Cote also do a really nice evening menu but I'm happy to take suggestions if you can think of any other places you prefer.
Our next meetup is on Oct 26th and I'll look forward to seeing you there . Please tell your friends about us and bring them along as we are nothing without our members and the more Ladies we have, the more wisdom, advice ,knowledge , laughter, brainstorming, inspiration ,support and networking opportunities we can share :)
